Bunsen Peak & Osprey Falls
Hike up Bunsen Peak for stunning views and down toward the Gardiner River to feel the spray of Osprey Falls

Hike up the shale-covered face of Bunsen Peak to overlook the Golden Gate of Yellowstone and Paradise Valley. On a clear day, look south and see if you can find the Grand Tetons, peeking over the horizon.
For those looking for a challenge, the trail continues down the back of Bunsen Peak. You will dip down on a steep, rocky trail towards the Gardiner River. At the bottom lies the massive, Osprey Falls, plummeting 150ft into Sheepeater Canyon. Finish the day by hiking back out easily along Old Bunsen Peak Road.
