Covid Policy

Your safety is our priority!

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Travelers on Private Tours
Clients traveling on private tours are encouraged to be up to date on all routine vaccinations including COVID vaccinations and annual boosters. Proof of vaccination is not required for standard private tours at this time. Masks are not currently required on private tours for anyone who is symptom free and has not had a recent confirmed exposure.

If local infection rates reach a level of concern, travelers may be asked to provide proof of recent vaccination (within 12 months) or a negative rapid test (taken within 72 hours of departure). By signing up, travelers also agree to wear appropriate mask protection if they become required by local authorities or Good Trip Adventures. Good Trip Adventures will notify travelers of implementation of these requirements at least two weeks in advance of any trip and will provide rapid tests if needed.

All travelers should be familiar with our policies around confirmed exposures and symptoms on trips (see below).

    • Travelers on Public Tours (Including single and multi-day)

Clients traveling on public tours must be up to date on all routine vaccinations, including for COVID-19 (booster received within last 12 months).

All travelers should be familiar with our policies around confirmed exposures and symptoms on trips (see below).

MASKING:

In Vehicles

If any of the below criteria are true, all clients and guides will be required to wear masks in vehicles:

      • Park regulations require use of masks in vehicles (based on community levels)
      • Any guide or client has a medical condition which puts them at high-risk for COVID19 complications
      • Good Trip Adventures has determined community levels to be high enough to require masking
      • Any guide or client requests the wearing of masks for any reason*

If any of the below criteria are true for an individual client or guide, that person will be required to wear a mask in vehicles. Other participants and guides are encouraged to mask as well:

      • Client or guide has a COVID19 exposure in the last 3 days (see below)
      • Client or guide is displaying symptoms of COVID19 (or any communicable disease)
      • Client or guide is within the recommended masking window for post-exposure (currently 10 days post-symptoms / positive test)

If none of the above criteria apply, guides and clients may forego the wearing of masks in vehicles.

The choice of anyone to wear a mask even in the absence of these criteria is to be respected.

*Guides should always ask clients about their comfort level and whether they would like to opt-in for masks before boarding vehicle.

Close Contact (Inside or outside)

If any of the below criteria are true, all clients and guides will be required to wear masks when in close contact (6’ or less):

      • Park regulations require use of masks in such circumstances
      • Any guide or client has a medical condition which puts them at high-risk for COVID19 complications
      • Good Trip Adventures has determined community levels to be high enough to require masking
      • Any guide or client requests the wearing of masks for any reason*

If any of the below criteria are true for an individual client or guide, that person will be required to wear a mask when in close contact with the group. Other participants and guide are encouraged to mask as well:

      • Client or guide has a COVID19 exposure in the last 3 days (see below)
      • Client or guide is displaying symptoms of COVID19 (or any communicable disease)
      • Client or guide is within the recommended masking window for post-exposure (currently 10 days post-symptoms / positive test)

If none of the above criteria apply, guides and clients may forego the wearing of masks in group settings.

The choice of anyone to wear a mask even in the absence of these criteria is to be respected.

In Park Buildings

Masking in park buildings may be required if the NPS has deemed it necessary. Good Trip Adventures will default to park requirements for in building masking.
