What will we see?
Join your guide for a full day visiting Grand Staircase-Escalante! Along the way, they’ll share stories of Grand Staircase-Escalante history, explain its natural features, and share information about its flora and fauna. Your itinerary may include shorter stops at iconic destinations such as Hole-in-the-Rock or Singing Canyon, while also leaving time to hike on the trails and away from crowds. Alternatively, your group may choose a longer hike for the day such as Lower Calf Creek Falls which takes you past tall sandstone towers with stunning colors and remnants left behind from the ancient Fremont people.
When will I be picked up?
Pick ups begin at the designated start time listed when you booked your trip. Your stop may be anytime within a half hour from that time. Your guide will message you about a day in advance to confirm more precise timing, which is based on the number of folks in the group and their pick up locations.
Can we adjust the start time or trip length?
We will stick to our pickup time and trip length for our small-group tours. For a fully customized trip, we recommend considering our private tour options.
What do we do for lunch?
We suggest that you pack a lunch and snacks throughout the day. Most trips also include a stop around lunchtime where you can purchase a grab-and-go option.
What should I bring?
Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, day pack, layers to adjust to changing temperatures, camera, gratuity for your guide
Are there age requirements?
They say age is just a number and we (mostly) agree! However, group dynamic considerations, we do have a minimum age of 8 on our small group departures. But there’s no maximum!
