Day 2: Explore the Iconic Narrows of Zion National Park

Your first day exploring the park kicks off with an exciting private tour, led by your expert Good Trip Adventures guide, through the towering sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons, and stunning scenery carved by the Virgin River. Your medically-trained, naturalist guide is more than just an expert; they’re an enthusiast. Their passion for Zion’s wonders shines through as they delve into topics like geology, wildlife, indigenous history, and botany. Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the park’s intricacies under their expert guidance.

Today’s adventure features the iconic Zion Narrows, a hike that follows the Virgin River deep into the canyon it formed. You’ll start the day getting outfitted with gear for the hike, as it is predominantly hiking in the water. But the effort will be rewarded with the chance to come face to face with the world’s tallest sandstone cliffs, and stunning canyon views lie beyond every bend in the river. Plus, enjoy a catered, gourmet picnic lunch midway through the day with all your favorite snacks and lunchtime goodies.

Part of what makes this tour truly exceptional is its flexibility, catered completely to your interests and abilities. Whether it’s riverbed walking or hiking on cliffside trails, your seasoned guide will tailor the day perfectly to your liking.
