We have partnered with Emma Capulong from Outside is Your Best Side, an outdoor guide and board-certified health and wellness coach trained by the Mayo Clinic. Emma helps adventurous individuals restore their motivation, direction, and confidence in challenging seasons of transition.  June 6: Arrive in Jackson, WY. After settling into your hotel, meet your guide and fellow travelers for an introductory hike up and a welcome dinner.

June 7: After a delicious breakfast in town, we’ll enjoy a morning tour of Grand Teton National Park. We’ll visit historic homesteads, riverbeds, and meadows, all while keeping lookout for wildlife! We’ll slowly make our way to Yellowstone where we may stop for a short hike before arriving at our camp for the next few nights.

June 8: Today we will tour the southern loop of Yellowstone National Park, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, as well as guided meditation. Back at camp, your guides will prepare a healthy and delicious dinner. In the evening, we’ll gather around the campfire for a mindfulness session

June 9: We’ll split our busy week with a full day of relaxation and mindfulness – yoga, guided meditation, and interpretive walks! Go at your own pace and enjoy your final night sleeping under the beautiful night skies.

June 10: Yellowstone has hundreds of miles of trails and hiking is the easiest way to escape the crowds. Today, we’ll hit the trails to explore parts of Yellowstone that most visitors never see! In the late afternoon, we’ll drive past the north entrance of the park to our luxury tipi and enjoy dinner in Gardiner, MT.

June 11: Spend your final full day spotting wildlife in the Lamar Valley and hike above the Yellowstone River! Finish the day with a soothing hot spring in Paradise Valley before returning to your glampsite.

June 12: Finish your trip with a final hike to challenge your body and awaken your mind! Then, we’ll head to Bozeman for your onward departure!

Weather

Yellowstone and Grand Tetons have very extreme weather – in fact, the highest recorded difference in temperature in a 24-hour period was recorded in Montana at over 100 degrees! 

September can be very comfortable and dry in the day, but get quite cold in the evenings with highs in the 70s and lows in the 30s. It can snow any month of the year and often does! 

Intensity 5/10

Expect to spend up to 6 hours per day walking or hiking (up to 10 miles and 2500ft elevation change) while carrying day packs with water and snacks! 

Suitable for most fit people with a bit of hiking experience.

Flights

You will be flying into Jackson Hole Airport and out of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. You’ll want to pick a flight that arrives before 2 pm MST on the first day and departs after 12 pm on the final day. Transportation from Bozeman to Jackson can be arranged.
