Looking for a National Parks Adventure?

Travel with Good Trip Adventures and feel great about your vacation!

What is Good Trip?

Good Trip Adventures offers the highest quality trips while prioritizing sustainability and inclusivity. Our guides are experts who lead thousands of explorers each year across the country and around the world.

We’re not just a local operator, we’re a national company that ensures consistent experiences of the highest quality. Our guides are local experts, and our service is world-class.

What Trips Do We Offer?

Whether you are a first-time hiker or experienced adventurer, we aim to provide experiences that are safe, responsible, and fun. We can create full itineraries that include accommodation, transportation, and activities – or we can enhance your adventure with a one-day guided introduction to a park.

You might want to join one of our set-departure backpacking adventures, or you might prefer a custom itinerary with outdoor adventures by day and luxury hotels at night. We can work with any budget, interest, or ability level!

For travel agents and operators, we offer a 10% commission on all trips.

Where Do We Operate?

We have expert guides in National Parks and outdoor treasures all over the US – from Oregon to Arizona to Wyoming to Maine! We also have close local partners in all of our international destinations. If you don’t see a destination listed on our site, just ask! We may operate there or have trusted partners who do.

What are our practices?

Beyond Good

At Good Trip, we strive to provide trips that are good for our clients, good for others, and good for the planet. Our company will focus on transparency in business, investment in community development, and a dedication to the environment. We’re committed to putting more good into our world.

Master Volunteers

Our team is passionate about giving back. In their free time, our staff and guides participate in a wide range of volunteer initiatives. From trail maintenance to youth development, our employees care about doing good.

Land Acknowledgments

Good Trip Adventures recognizes that our trips take place in the ancestral homelands of Native American peoples, and we acknowledge those peoples on our site. You can read our full land acknowledgment here.

Inclusive Outdoors

At the core of what makes a Good Trip is a commitment to all people accessing the outdoors. If there are any barriers to you joining us on an adventure, please reach out to info@goodtripadventures.com so we can make a Good Trip happen for you.

Sustainability

We understand that travel is one of the largest contributors to climate change. We also know that travel can make people feel connected to our planet and motivate them to protect it. Our mission is to offer travel that minimizes impact on the earth. Here are some of our current practices:

  • We work closely with the places we visit to ensure that we’re using trails and itineraries that are not impacting overused lands.
  • Our guides are trained in Leave No Trace practices, which they share with every group.
  • We use compostable food prep gloves, reusable shopping bags, and reusable cutlery for all of our food preparation.
  • We currently offset 50% of the carbon footprint of every flight through the Gold Standard and we encourage our guests to offset the rest.
  • We use local, not-for-profit credit unions, so we know that our money isn’t being used to fund practices we don’t believe in.

Of course, there will always be chances to improve and we are committed to staying up-to-date with best practices. If you have any ideas of how we can limit our impact, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at info@goodtripadventures.com or visit www.goodtripadventures.com
