What will we see?
Private trips are customized to you and your group’s interests and abilities. You may see the highlights of the park or spend the day hiking a trail suited to your abilities! Your guide will reach out in advance of your trip to plan the perfect day for you and your group!
What's for lunch?

What should I bring?
Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, day pack, layers to adjust to changing temperatures, camera, hat, hiking shoes/boots or tennis shoes with a good tread, gratuity for your guide.
We strongly recommend renting gear for hiking the Narrows. If you are not planning to rent gear, we recommend bringing a solid wooden walking stick or trekking poles you feel comfortable putting your entire weight on. We also recommend wearing secure, slip-resistant shoes and clothes you are comfortable with getting wet. Wading pants will be required Oct – June.
Do I need to tip my guide?
Tipping is a common way to say thanks to your guides for all their hard work. While it’s never expected, it’s always appreciated! A good rule of thumb is to tip 10-20% of the total trip cost, split between the guides. Ultimately, the amount is up to you and should reflect the level of service you feel you received. Whatever you choose, the guides will appreciate it!
