Trip Info

This adventure hits the highlights of Utah’s Mighty Five: Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks.

Float along the Colorado River, hike to spectacular rock formations, explore deep canyons, and stargaze in one of the darkest skies in the lower 48! Learn and appreciate how each one of these parks are connected, yet so different! Most nights are spent in relative glamping luxury, while other nights give you the opportunity for rustic tent-camping.

Weather

The best times of year to hike in the deserts of Utah are during early Spring from late February to May, and the fall months of September through early November. The summer months can be oppressively hot and not ideal for hiking. Daytime temperatures in spring and fall are usually from 60° to 80°F (16°-27°C) and nights are cool. In the early fall you should be prepared for the odd afternoon thunderstorm. Bryce Canyon sits at a much higher elevation, please anticipate warm days in the 60s with very cool evening temperatures.
